A few tips:
1) I really know that my value doesn't come from getting the job. YES, I want it, I really do, but BUT, I know it doesn't define me, make me more valuable, lovable, smarter, sexier or whatever- THAT is an illusion and a lie.
2) Gratitude. Yes, again, it seems this is the key to so many things. Gratitude shouldn't be too hard, because living your dream is well... amazing!
3) Comparison. DON'T do it! Social media is FULL of folks talking about their accomplishments, and why not, it's great to be proud of our successes, however it's essential to remember, we all have our journeys, and looking at someone else and thinking they have it easy because of this, that or the other, is totally draining and likely completely false.
4) A dear friend told me this yesterday, as I was talking about an audition I was heading to. She said "don't make it the most important thing you do today". Oh yea! That's a great one. Take the pressure off, live your life, make plans, better yet make travel plans, always a sure way to book work!
Also, if you're not getting auditions, this all applies.
Keep strong in yourself, keep connecting to the depth and value you intrinsically have. No one has the power to determine your value, but you. Always.
